Preparing to leave.

We are incredibly excited to leave for Japan in the early hours of Wednesday, April 10th. Right now we're all packing and getting gifts to exchange with our host families.

Once we leave, we will update this blog at least once per day.  Each student in our group will be responsible for posting one day on our trip.  Maybe the chaperones will also add a post or two.


We heard that the cherry blossom season has come earlier than it ever has. That could be great news for us.  This picture of Hirosaki Castle was taken on March 18th.  It is hard to believe that we will be at this very castle in under two weeks!
