3am start!

Good morning!

We were all slightly bleary-eyed when we met at CRMS at 3:00am this morning. Despite foggy heads we were all excited about the trip - I think we were relieved that the wait was finally over. Mrs. Owen and I nervously checked that we had every passport. Students waved goodbye to their parents - I'm not sure who was more sad to say goodbye?

Most of us managed to get some sleep on the bus. Mrs. Owen was the champion sleeper. Once we hit the edge of Boston we got stuck in rush hour but we got into Logan in plenty of time.

After a trip to dunkin donuts and Starbucks we settled into Our seats where we find ourselves taking it easy at our gate, waiting to board. Everyone has plugged in - see the photo below - which has made the chaperones happy. We're drinking coffee brushing up on Japanese phrases.

Mata aimasho!

  1. This is your school nurse speaking: Don't forget to get up and walk around on the plane to prevent blood clots in your legs and also sore butt syndrome. Safe travels everyone! Have a blast! Eat new foods!
