I know it is way more interesting to hear from the students, so I'll keep it brief. I just wanted to share a few photos of our first day in Tokyo..

During a shoping trip, Mrs. Owen and I found a shrine.
Mrs. Owen found time to get her groove on.

We then took a trip to the Medji shrine.

The inside of the shrine - very peaceful.
We finished up the day having an all-you-can-eat buffet dinner on the 15th floor in downtown Tokyo.
And we established a new trip rule, which is why Mrs. Owen and Julia look so fetching in these sunglasses. This morning we're heading to a science museum and a Bhuddist temple this afternoon.
Oh, and Gavin tried fermented soy beans this morning. He didn't like it and we have photos to prove it. More to come...

The pictures are wonderful. I know you are all having a great time!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Mrs. Owen!
