Everything has gone so well. We had a 2 hour delay in Boston because of thunderstorms in Michigan. This made us nervous since we had only a 3 hour layover in Detroit, but we made flight just fine, settled into our huge jumbo jet with red blankets and little pillows for each of us. We actually arrived in Narita 14 hours later 15 minutes early. We had an hour bus ride to Tokyo and now we are happily ensconced in our neat and tidy little Japanese hotel rooms, ready to fall into bed.
